Obituary
James A. "Jim" Perge, age 58, of Newark, passed away on Monday, April 11, 2011 at his home. He was born January 27, 1953 in Newark, Ohio to the late John J. and Maxine G. (Victor) Perge.

Jim was a 1971 graduate of Newark High School. He had been employed with Greif Brothers and Union Tool. Jim was a member of the Newark Eagles #387 and enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Cindy Priest, whom he married February 17, 1973; and by two children, Jamie D. (Mark) Fincato of Utica and James A., Jr., (Kristin) Perge of Newark; grandchildren, Jacob Fincato and Brayden Perge; brothers, Joe (Marsha) Perge and Johnny Perge all of Newark; and a sister, Clara (Randy) Peters of Hebron.

At his request, there will be no service or calling hours.

The Newark Chapel of Henderson-Van Atta-Stickle Funeral & Cremation Service is assisting the family with arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio.
